1. Abstract (everyone needs this) 2. Safety Sheet (everyone needs this) **Read carefully to decide which (if any) of the following you need to download to your Google Drive: 3. Human As Test Subjects Endorsement (only needed if you had human test subjects) 4. Non-Human Vertebrate Endorsement (only needed if you worked with animals) 5. Microorganism Endorsement (only needed if you grew ANY sort of bacteria - MOLD included!) |
Bibliography Instructions:
Step 1: Visit this site **Once there, choose APA from the list of options across the screen** Book Citations: Step 2: Choose the type of source you are citing (Book) Step 3: Enter the book title Step 4: Choose "Find Book" Step 5: Find the correct book from the list and click "Choose" Step 6: Check the information provided to make sure it's the correct book Step 7: Choose "Add to my Bibliography" Step 8: Repeat steps for additional books Internet Citations: Step 2: Choose the type of source you are citing (Website) Step 3: Enter the website address (URL) - BE CAREFUL YOU ENTER IT CORRECTLY ***Step 4: If you do not have the correct address, search the web and find the site again and copy and paste the address into this box Step 5: Click "Find Info" Step 6: Fill in the rest of the information needed for the citation (Author/Sponsor/Publisher/Date site was created/Date you visited/etc) Step 7: Click "Add to my Bibliography" Step 8: Repeat steps for additional websites Once all sources are cited: Step 9: Under your list of citations on the right, click the option for "APA" Step 10: Click on the option below that for "Download to Word" Step 11: Sign up for a free account using your school email address - fill out the form, then click REGISTER Step 12: Choose the option again for "Download to Word" Step 13: Choose "Open" from the menu that should pop up Step 14: Save this file to your computer (in your "H" drive) Step 15: Copy and paste the bibliography into your science fair paper Step 16: Present your project, show the judges "who's boss," and rock the science fair! |

Science Fair Central - Discovery Education How to Make a Graph Online: Step 1: Visit this site Step 2: Choose the type of graph you want Step 3: Use the tabs on the right side to input data, information ,etc **Be sure to label your x and y axis (including units - cm, m, etc)! Step 4: Preview graph Step 5: Once the graph is the way you would like it, click the "Print/Save" tab on the right Step 6: Choose "Download" Step 7: From the drop-down menu at the top, choose to save the graph as a JPG Step 8: Click Download Step 9: A little box in the bottom right corner of you computer will pop up - click "show in folder" Step 10: Once the download box pops up, click on your graph and drag and drop it into your "drive" on the left side Step 11: Go back to your science fair document. Find the section where you want to put your graph and put your cursor there. Step 12: Click on "Insert" from the menu bar - choose "Image." Find the graph image from your Google Drive and click "Select." The graph should add into your report! Step 13: Pat yourself on the back for a job well done and for being one step closer to finishing your project! :) |
